Tripod fire
This campfire construction is a combination of a tripod that used to be a stool and a metal dish from India. These dishes are used in that country to heat interiors (with all the risks of carbon monoxide pollution taken for granted). The tripod puts the dish at a convenient height so you can warm yourself including your feet.
