One of the main problems I faced as a designer/writer was the amount of pens that got lost when I was on the road. The reason: they are to big. Pens like the one on this picture measure at least 15 centimeters and will walk out of your pocket without notice.
So this is what you can do to solve that problem. First write until the ink has reached a relatively low level. Then saw the pen at a lenght of say 6 centimeters. Smoothen with sandpaper. Add some adhesive tape to the back so the cap will fit. Together with the cap you create a 9.5 centimeters long pen, just enough to keep it in your hands. All works best with Pentel`s K106 Hybrid roller.
