Christmas lights are put in place and turned on at night every year between Thanksgiving and the end of the year by the Department of Water and Power of the City of Los Angeles, and in their simplicity are ingenious and heart-warming. There are several themes, most of them connected to our city, but I simply love the Christmas tree.
